Muffin Man Tall

Description

The Muffin Man (Tall) is a handcrafted stool made in the USA from solid ash wood or walnut, designed to bring comfort and quiet character into a space. Resting on four sweetly rounded feet, it’s topped with a plush shearling seat and filled with a resilient blend of wool and horsehair—materials chosen for their longevity, breathability, and natural performance.

Finished by hand with a linseed oil stain, the ash wood reveals its grain while remaining protected by a time-honored, natural finish. Every element of the Muffin Man is free of synthetics, a choice made not only to reduce environmental impact but to ensure durability and a timeless, tactile beauty.

Equally at home as a stool, footrest, or sculptural accent, the Muffin Man adds comfort, function, texture, and a truly unique presence to any room.

The Namesake

The Muffin Man Stool gets its name from its appearance. With its plush shearling top, the stool has all the charm of a freshly baked muffin, while its four rounded feet are a playful nod to the Muffin Man making his deliveries. Though the traditional Muffin Man rhyme refers to a baker in Victorian England selling something closer to an English muffin, the name felt too fitting to ignore. Soft, sturdy, and full of character, the Muffin Man Stool proudly carries on the tradition in its own way.
